One Step Off

By , Richmond, KY
One step off
What spanned on time before
In the breaks of aching beats
That then marked me beauty’s form.
A be of love’s light singing.
That’s a loveless dream of mind.
I stand still none,
Nor float on space.
Moving, pulsing, flying, feeling.
Bleeding, crying, cutting, reeling.
Always awake and evermore thoughting.
Thoughting myself onto one step off,
What it thought I be.
