death backs away

we can all be forgiving

we can all change our ways

the sun will shine

the stars will glow
given a chance
a bell will chime
given a chance
faith will grow

given a chance
everyone is human
given a chance
we can all feel guilt
given a chance
you can become a new man
given a chance
new lives can be built

given a chance
light will prevail
given a chance
we believe in hope
given a chance
our ships will set sail
given a chance
we all learn to cope

given a chance
we all make our mark
given a chance
someone will see it
given a chance
a tree grows bark
given a chance
I hope you believe it

we look past ourselves

we look out for others

into the heart we delve

Thanks! I have another poem up called "Atop the Angels," could you check that one out? It's one of my better ones that I've submitted, and feedback would be nice. Also, I'll be sure to check out a few of your works if you have any up (haven't looked yet). It's the least I can do in exchange for a compliment!
