Stop crying little girl
I smiled at him...
the biggest smile i could
not forced,
mere innocence
one would hope
The wider the curve
pushed my cheeks up high
to trap the waters
until he'd leave
and, my face become
undry, undry
The little girl,
she tried
she tried so hard to hide
But no longer
could the quiver
freeze
Right in front of him,
I cried.
I thought he'd gently wipe away
the liquid rocks that rolled
teemingly
Scrape by scrape,
once a pleasant face,
now all too seemingly,
But instead,
he walked away
after saying,
"I liked it better when you smiled."
