It's Over

The only thing i ever wanted
was you to be in my life,
i never wanted anything more than i wanted you,
you kept me breathing through the days,
you brought me up to speed,
you kept me by your side,
and you held my head up high,
I tried,
I failed,
and now its all over,
tears streaming down my face,
shame cursing through my veins,
it's what was ment to be,
and it's how it's going to be,
and now its over.
