Claustrophobia eating at your insides
No where is safe, No where to hide
Closing in time ticks away
In this lie you try to stay.

Do you see the blood on the walls?
Do you sense the guillotine’s call?
The snap of the rope, falling steel,
Is it freedom or a blade you’ll feel?

Tightening is the hangman’s lynch
Within your mind a numbing pinch
Clutching at fear, there no debate
You’re cracking soul and heart of hate.

Do you see the blood on the walls?
Do you sense the guillotine’s call?
The snap of the rope, falling steel,
Is it freedom or a blade you’ll feel?

Cutting corners, something’s amiss
What have you done in shadows’ bliss?
No one should know what you conceive
The devils at your door, now you believe?

what inspired me to write this piece, is how people get away with murderous, filthy, nasty, evil crimes, and don't feel any remourse.
