I look out the window and I can see
All of the places I wish I could be.
I look out the window and I can see
The places around me change drastically.
I look out the window and I see such a sight
The places around me change from green to brown to white.
I look out the window and within my reach
Is a little bird with an annoying screech.
I look out the window and in the distance
I see a dog surrounded by a picket fence.
I look out the window and I can see
All of the places I wish I could be.
