Warm rising reds
Churning dancing blues
Flame and aqua in an ironic dance
Glistening cylinder of intensity
Burps of glitter
Pillar of fire rising in an aerodynamic tube of glowing light
Speeding up to better things
Blurbs of light sliding slowly
Eruptions of dye spurt
Bubbles blister and burn
Less of a nightlight
More of a lifeline

I wrote this poem about the lava lamp on my desk!
