I am from the passenger seat of the car, the aisle seat of the train, the window seat of the plane.
From goodbyes to hellos.
I am from summers away at beaches to walking home in the fall.
From sun to clouds.
I am from stages and courts.
From dancing and sports.
I am from pictures and memories.
From laughter and tears.
I am from paper and a pen,
From writing to erasing.
I am from changing channels and skipping songs.
From not wanting to face the truth.
I am from looking at the clock and counting down.
From wanting more time, yet waiting for it to pass.
I am from studying till midnight.
From dedication and hard work.
I am from waking up at six in the morning.
From picking out outfits to applying make-up.
I am from crumpled pieces of paper.
From mistakes and regret.
I am from smiles and forgiving.
From never forgetting.

This was an assignment I was given and I basically thought of everything I do and what symbolizes myself. There is pattern between every other line starting with "I am from" or "From". Starting from the beginning, every two sentences correspond with eachother.
