On Dogs In Alleys
Light falls
Illuminating the men standing,
Talking.
They laugh some and mutter under breath,
"Hey Baby, c'mere."
Light plays on their faces and
Travles,
lighting also
Dogs
Fighting in the alleys
Dogs
Chasing after stray alley cat
Dogs
Ripping her apart.
Light moves on,
Displaying also the gentler image,
woman walking,
soft skin,
tempting,
purse clenched,
throat tight
She never did like dogs.
