Like mother, Like daughter
They say we look so much alike,
although I don't see it.
Of course I see a resemblance, nobody can deny it,
but looking so much alike they confuse us?
I just don't understand...
you smile and tell them thank you,
I sigh and say, "Again?"
Although I try to hide it, I really don't mind it
when they aww over how much we look alike,
because when I look at you, I see who I hope to be,
a beautiful person,
and a wonderful mother.
