The suit
The cuffs
The slacks
The tie

Oversimplified
Blandly stated
Gray faced
All color faded

Systematic
Industrialized
All these corrupted lies
Have never dissipated in time

What goes down in history
For a time of greed and evil seeds
Sure is a mystery
To a generation yet unseen

A planet in possible peril
Through man or machine
A life only rented out
Can never be all it can be

For you see;
When we as people struggle to survive
Primal instinct comes in to keep us alive
And with this the genius of our minds
Is kept locked up inside

Locked up for the world to never know
Then how is the world as a whole to grow?

And with those free,
In power and set out to be,
Lacking genius as a remedy,
How is the rest of the world to sleep?

Would we in turn be evil
To corrupt a future with a prequel
Would we spoil the ending
With bliss in the beginning?

So is mankind to blame
Or machinery and wizardry the blind scapegoat
Demons and ghouls?
Or men in towers, wearing suits?
