Tell her the world has ceased to spin,
and she’ll complete its rotation.
Show her the bleak, unforgiving gray in a land once overwhelmed with vibrancy,
and she’ll whisper hues of absolution.
Pillage her most sacred aspiration, depleting her of passion,
and she’ll quench her thirst with an abominable quest for fruition.
Speak of inconceivable danger in hopes of instilling fear of the unperceived,
and she’ll jump from the tops of buildings for the thrill of the fall.
