Christmas Walk Home

I started at grandmothers house
On that snowy Christmas morning
Watching the joy that families had
As they opened all of their presents
And played in their cold, snowy yard
Which made me start to wonder
Why I wasn't enjoying this day
For it was a very special holiday
A day for kids and adults alike
