Scarlett's Tears
The scarlet tears stop the pain within her,
No thinking back to the things that were,
The days behind becoming a blur,
The people’s stares cannot deter.
Crimson slowly fades to brown,
Hidden from those wary frowns,
When this ends, when I’m found,
Too late to turn her life around.
Once again the rubies appear,
The thoughts she has becoming clear,
They don’t stop as long as I am here,
Her silent scarlet tears.
