She puts on her clothes everyday,
But today will be different,
Today she will show her true self,
She wont hide behind a jacket,
Today she wont care if people see,
Today she will walk out of her house after being yelled at by her mother,
Today she will go to the busstop and wait silently for the bus while little kids surround her and wonder if she’ll live long enough to have any of her own,
Today she will sit in the back of the bus while listening to rock music that would tempt someone to kill thierself,
Today she will sit down in class and listen,
Today she will wonder aimlessly why she is here,
Today she will go to lunch and eat something she wouldn’t even feed a rat,
Today she will be called out of class to talk about her “problems”,
Today she will try to avoid home,
Today she will go to “bed on time”,
Tomorrow she will not be here,
Tomorrow she will be dead and everyone will be too late.
