The Truth

We aren't who we always seem to be.
We are masks that cover the face of reality.
Who knows what the truth really is?
Nobody can tell.
Have you ever truly felt love?
Or is it just in our minds?
We'll never know the truth.
I can't believe I've felt so alone.
When everyone around me is just the same.
We are alone in a place like this,
Where nothing is as it seems.
We can never be...the truth.
