That summer evening
I fell in love
Again
I fell in love with life
Beauty
Hope

A kind so uncluttered happiness
Filled my heart
Spilling from sunset
Onto the still ponds adoring face

Everything felt suspended in
That embrace of color and glass
Gentle air caressed

My awed face as flocks of
Comforting against all
The heat of color
Sinking into
Earth

I was inspired to write this poem when i was in writing class listening to instrumental peices. I imaged all the images i put in the poem.
