I have feelings
You pry into them
Split the boards
Shatter the box, and send splinters through my heart
You throw them on the floor like dirty laundry
And walk over them

I pick the pieces up
They barely fit together
But you have not won
For I still have strength
I will not raise a flag to your foolishness
I brush the dirt away
And ignore the pain

You left a wound, it may never heal
My heart aches from the chains
The chains and lock I now have guarding me
From Fatal Footprints
