This cannot be a team of common men, because common men go nowhere. You have to be uncommon

To ban sports is a terrible thing
To ban sports is a rotten thing
Without sports, there’s no one to cheer
Without sports, there’s no one to jeer
To have no sports is like SpongeBob without Gary
To have no sports is like a Santa who isn’t merry

To ban sports is an awful thing
The Star-Spangled-Banner no one will sing
Without sports, there’s no excitement
Without sports, there’s no disappointment
To have no sports is like the Cat without his hat
To have no sports is like having no back to pat

To ban sports is a disheartening thing
No wrestlers to hear the bell go “Ding!”
Without sports, there’s no distraction
Without sports, there’s no intense action
To have no sports is like peanut butter without jelly
To have no sports is like Homer without his big belly

To ban sports is a terrible thing
To ban sports is a rotten thing
Without sports, there’s no one to cheer
Without sports, there’s no one to jeer
To have no sports is like having no front door
To have no sports is like having no July 4
