broken wing
The love we had was beyond any other degree
You turned my life around
And you healed my broken heart.
But now that were done,
The broken heart I had has come back.
I’ve hurt worse than this before yes
But this is a different hurt.
The kind that disappoints,
The kind that longs to be talked about
But it’s the kind that you can’t let out.
The thing that hurts the worst though is
That I want you back, I miss you.
And I know you don’t miss me;
Because now you’re with her.
You’ll never know how much I miss you,
Or how much it hurts seeing you with her.
I’ll never let you know.
When I was with you I felt like I was flying
Now it’s like I have a broken wing.
I guess moving on is the only answer.
But moving on, won’t take the hurt away.
