Life is but a blur,
Especially after the transfer.
I haven’t a clue,
What to do.
Time has passed by,
Since I said my goodbyes.
Being apart,
Rends my heart.

The tears have stopped,
Yet my heart has plopped.
Nothing makes sense,
And the pain is immense.
When can I explain,
Why the pain in my veins,
Exists?

The author's comments:
In 6th grade when I moved from one school to another, it was a huge impact. I lived my whole life, and knew all my friends since I was about three. Having to say goodbye hurt immensely, and I find I still miss them today.
