The past is the past, we learn from it, grow stronger, and then we progress ~ K

The floors will creak
as the people speak
as time goes by
people die
the city is falling
theres no sense in stalling
through the rubble heros rise
the ones the world will idolize
the mushroom cloud in the distance
every one will need assistance
they will come and they will stay
and everyone will obey
today the world came to an end
as the paper met the pen

When I wrote this I was bored, I was listening to a lecture in geography so I wrote this I revised it fifty times and still want to revise it fifty more times, But I think its decent for where I'm at for poetry.
