jerkks are jerkks, forever and always

Her soft laughter
floats from the room.
Her giggles match
her bubble
personality.
You can picture her smile,
her sparkly eyes.
But i bet
you can't see
her crying right now.
you can't imagine
the tears running down her cheeks,
her mouth curved
into an unfamiliar frown.
You can't see
her body shaking,
shaking with sobs.
You can't guess,
her thoughts right now.
She's devestated,
heartbroken,
full of grief.
Her love,
her first and only love,
tore himself away from her.
"I'm not good for you,"
he said.
"You're too innocent,
I'm too rough."
She wanted to kiss him,
to tell him not to go.
But she couldnt
make any words
speak from her lips.
She watched him leave
and reached for him,
but he was already gone.
Her knees wobbled,
she could no longer stand.
She fell to the ground,
and sobbed.
She sobbed until
she had no more tears.
Her eyes were dry,
her cheeks were wet.
She couldn't cry
any longer.
She couldn't love him
anymore.
But,
deep in her heart,
deep in her mind,
she still loved him.
And she knows,
she always will,
no matter what happens,
he will always matter,
to her.
