The rain washes away my tears
Will it heals the pain, cure my broken heart?
Block out the screaming and fighting?
Can it take away my anger?
Make me safe? no more fear
My tears pour down with the rain
I watch it wishing things could be different
Splashing in a puddle like when I was little
The sound of the rain drowns out my sobbing
