Quoth the raven, "Nevermore"

As a swan, majestic
beautiful
graceful
It’s flowing
flying free
With no borders
A vast sky of
greatness
Opening its hand
to nature
A swan, white and
gentle, soft as
the clouds overhead.

As an angel
light
a virtue
a guideline
If only
others were the
same, the world would be
Filled
with eternal love

As a lake
clear blue with
no ripple
Untouched
Solid
Just glass
To see yourself
Picture yourself
A perfect image
Purely
Shining quietly
Only just everlasting patience

As a mother
Warm tender
A grace
A blessing
from
The Lord
No comparison or
Equal
My mother
Is my
Very own
Heaven

On Earth

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem to show my Mother how much she means to me and I think that she has received the message as clear as a freshly washed window pane. I am hoping that this poem will remind people of how much their mothers mean to them.
