Baby, It's Over
Baby, It’s Over
Don’t wait up for me to call anymore
Don’t expect me to walk through that door
‘Cause I’m not going to call anymore.
So I hope you’re in love with her
‘Cause baby, it’s over.
There isn’t any use in telling lies,
I have already seen her car pulling out of your drive,
And I won’t struggle with her vices
Doing 175 out on the highway.
No I can’t hate on a player,
Yes the game got run on me.
I guess it’s like elevators, sooner or later you’re coming down…
And I might say I’m surprised,
But I have too much pride to be here going through it.
Tripping over bull crap never got me anywhere.
But now we’re running in places,
And I won’t be immature by acting like I don’t care.
But I’m going to lick my wounds and just move on, so…
You want my trust time and time again,
I got the last laugh in the end…
