Freedom lay in our eyes,
We hid behind a large oak tree,
She put a finger to her lips and shushed me,
I shushed back,
and let the prickly grass tickle my toes,
She raised an eyebrow to question if I'm ready or not,
I smirked to say I was born ready,
We counted down from ten inside our heads,
If we were caught we knew we'd be dead,
But we'd laugh the whole way to hell,
We sprinted around the lawn,
The wind hit our bodies and we begin to laugh,
Lights from inside the house flickered on,
We grabbed our clothes and clutched them to our naked chest,
We ran to our houses like the way we were born into the world,
I'm sure to this very day the principal is wondering..."Who were those naked girls?"
