The spring snow melted
daring the darling buds to
awaken from their garden of earth
Roots began pushing up
blue and yellow tulips
they unfurled in triumph beside
the rosebuds
Animals awoke to the gift of grass
and meadows

and wildflowers
Bee’s wings beat rapidly with nectar thoughts
Deer pranced in the fields of youth
A sun

radiated




down and







all






was







good.
