Lost In My Pain

This life has become too hard
The tears and anger consume it all
I cannot find happiness
It is a dark trail as far as the eye can see
I try to fight the urge of red sadness
But the pain I feel won’t go away
My heart aches for a joy
Lost in the dark
Searching for my empty soul
I fight back tears
My eyes are tired
My heart is week
I am slowly breaking down
How much longer will it take?
Till I see the light that I desire for
