I’d never want to blame you for anything
You didn’t know what you were doing
You were probably oblivious all along
Even though there were those moments
Those sparks when your focus was on me
Maybe I fabricated them in my mind
Maybe I made something out of nothing
But I know (if only for a moment) something was there
Even if you forgot the next day
That’s surely what you did
I take all the blame, I shouldn’t have let you defeat me
I know you’re not completely gone
But maybe if would be better if you were
