best friends forever

what a joke,
why we lie,
great excuses,
but so many consequences,
so what we lose,
what we obtain,
when we break hearts,
or love in vain.
the clothes we wear,
the smiles we fake,
and all we regret
for every little mistake.
oh but the good times,
just another escape.
the words that are said,
they mean nothing at all,
when you don't really mean them,
so no more i call.
those sleepless nights
when Ive trapped you
in my head,
your all mine and
there isn't much more said.
one little truth better then
one thousand cute lies,
so heres my truth to you,
you were never my real friend,
goodbye.

I LOVE this. It's absolutely so true. I had an experience that was very much the same. I hope that things get better for you, it's a really difficult experience, but things will get better. <3
