Afraid To Get Rejected

There's a boy that I like
But I'm afraid to tell him
We talk and joke around
But how would he react
If I told him
Would that change our friendship
Would he talk to me anymore
I'm afraid to tell him
I'm afraid he'll reject me
Then I would want to run away
And never show my face again
I'm afraid to get rejected
I've been rejected
So many times before
So why take a chance
When I could get rejected again
Sometimes I feel
Like nobody likes me
So I'm not taking another chance
I'm afraid to get rejected
