My grandpa is dear to me
He may treat me like a kid
But my grandpa is dear to me
He may not laugh at my jokes
But my grandpa is dear to me
He may not understand that I am not a kid
But my grandpa is dear to me
He may buy me little kid toys
But my grandpa is dear to me
He may not understand how I am or the style of clothes I wear
But my grandpa is dear to me
He may not understand the way I am or the way I act
But my grandpa is dear to me
So write those letters
Give them those phone calls
Let them know you are there for them and that you care
