Careful Canvas Faces

September 30, 2009
By Anonymous

Pick up my scattered remnants
With masking tape and glue
And sew my awkward arms and legs
Arrange them just like new

My feelings are in puzzle form
With never-ending sides
My heart is locked:
The key obtained,
From buttons on speed dial

My tears and feelings flood the room
Rushing toward the drain
With its deep subsiding gloom
All the wrong and pain.

Understanding sighs and nods
Paint their careful canvas faces
Pick up my sorrow shards
And nothing will be wasted.
