Our happy days are fleeting...,
our memories are gone.
The days we spent together,
are not here any long.
I try and remember
your faint smile,
but those happy days are fleeting,
our memories are gone.
Your laugh that floated
through the air.
The wavy thickness of your hair.
I try to remember everything,
but my happy days are fleeting,
my memories all gone.
My last memories of you...
we're standing hand in hand.
You whisper something in my ear,
but I don't seem to remember what,
since my happy days are fleeting,
our memories are gone.
