i want you
so bad
to come and pull
me into your
arms and tell me
that everything
will be okay

i want you
to put your lips
against my ear
and with hot breath
reassure me
that you are really
there

i want you
to reach into me
take my heart
and sooth it's ache

i want you
to reach into me
take my brain
and foggy thoughts
and clear them away

i want you
so bad
