Monsters killed me
September 20, 2009
I enter the room,
Darkness fills every corner,
Monsters lurk under my bed,
My mother used to coo,
Now she's gone,
But the monsters stayed,
Oh how I wish it was the other way,
The monsters taunt me,
Telling me I have no life,
They begin to laugh,
As I lay down to cry,
My tears are water to them,
They can't live without it,
Oh how I wish I could die,
I see a light in the room,
Muting the monsters completely,
My mother comes back,
I am so glad,
My mother…Mama,
Came back to take me.
