Oh what I wouldn’t give
To feel your arms wrap
Around me once again
I miss the feeling of
Your hand grasping
Mine with tenderness.
I miss the way my heart
Used to race whenever
I would look into your eyes.
I miss the sound of your
Voice whispering those
Special words to me.
I miss the nervous smile you
Used to shoot my way when
We were with my parents.
I guess what I’m trying to
Say is that I miss everything
