Favorite Quote:
“Someday I shall become a tree, and the wind will sing in my branches, and the sun will dance on my leaves, and I shall be strong and beautiful through all the seasons.”

A sweeping flow
Of come and go
Press your lips against hers

An hourglass
Held in her hand
You will toss the thing away

Airplane wings
She's trusting them
To fly her from this earth

Light on her face
Reflects this place

Stars in your eyes
A slight surprise

She is who you are

The author's comments:
Partially inspired by characters in the novel Atlas Shrugged, and partially inspired by a friend, the main idea of this piece are journeys we take to understand ourselves and others.
