Selfless

The day had once been filled with clouds
But the sun has broken through
I feel as if I should be glad
The sun always comes out in happy endings
But instead I am sad of what the sun has done
These clouds won't be back; they're gone
The clouds only had one day
And in their one day they gave water
Which the flowers happily soaked up
And the animals came and took gratefully
If I only had one day I would be like the clouds
