A Silent Ending

Wanting to surrender,
but not ready to back down.
It goes against all she has ever known,rules set down by herself,
laws of her own.
Once so strong,
and now so weak.
Slowly falling,
with a silent scream.
She falls to the ground,
surrounder by her pain.
Hopelessly trying,
with nothing to gain.
She plunges into the darkness,
alone but not afraid.
She lets no sound escape her as she accepts her fate.
