Faith Eclipse

I’m telling you I’ve been there.
I’ve traveled to the hole where light meets dark.

I’ve touched the blistering cries of no one,
Heard the cornerstone of nothing,
Seen the padded terrace leading nowhere.

And if you don’t believe me,

Feel.
Feel my voice mimic the wind’s,
As needle meets thread, dancing upon my lips.

Watch.
Watch these ridged edges silenced to silk,
As my fingerprint becomes just one of hundreds.

Listen.
Listen to me step into the robe of someone else’s truth,
As I fasten its belt to elsewhere’s destination.

I’m telling you I’ve been there.
I’ve traveled to the hole where light meets dark.

Selfish,
Unclaimed
Darkness.

Wow. You have so much to contribute to the literary world. I started looking at your other stuff after I read your short story.

Ha, I guess this is a good way for my comment to stand out, but astounding job on "P. S. Don't Save Me," not to mention this wonderful poem, short, stirring. I look forward to any more works that you put forth. Use that talent!
