Grecian Helmets This work has been published in the Teen Ink monthly print magazine.

By
Stones litter the sea like bodies in war
Red and gold as blood and Grecian helmets
Floating in azure waters above the sharks
Someday I want to rescue every pebble
From the foam before the crabs consume them
Every lobster, every anemone is a foe
So are the dolphins our only friends?
The same question haunted the Mycenaeans
