Little Compton MAG

By Anonymous

     a car whisks me
down the steep hill
ocean
looming closer
rock
jolts me up
down
to the mouse shack
in the grass
on the warped floorboards
listening
to each
blade of grass
cry welcome
talking to the uneven stone wall
filled with tails of rabbits and stories of rock skyscrapers
a wash of relaxation
a depletion
of stress,
cleansing my soul
