Mistaken Light

I am a shattered sea of adolescent stars

Which cannot tether to an original existence

They lay wandering until they fall

Onto their path which is still undetermined

By some deity who ignores them

But pretends to listen

And protesters gather to make sense

Of this sickly formation of light

Which cannot shine any longer.
