I took a walk
Drops rushing from cloud to ground, forgetting the space in between
Flashes of enigma against a smoky screen
Wouldn’t I like it if this meant something?
Find some punctuation to another heroic sentence.
This is why,
with chin tilted to branches
I expect the lightning to come closer
to strike me
But it never comes.
