Precious Pooch

My puppy, warm and bright,
Jumping like a bumblebee, running, taking flight,
To give me a kiss and a lick,
And then telling me her greatest fright,
She jumps forth and fro, then back again,
Just to go where she’s never been,
Never underestimate the power of a dog,
Because without them, life would be so wrong.
