Fountain of Fire

Her fountain of fire,
Fueled by a lake of anger.
Anger bred by years,
Stolen kisses on clenched red lips.
Hidden by lacy dresses,
Choking strands of white pearls.
Makeup layered on a foundation,
A foundation she will shake.
She brandishes her pen,
Spreading ink like her feathered wings.
With the wisdom that accompanies truth,
She will escape the bonds of her memories.
