Valentine's Was Yesterday

Yesterday I did not write to you
Whoever you are
Yesterday I did not write
Because I was not inspired
I was not inspired yesterday
But I am inspired now
I write for the lonely souls
The damaged hearts
The heads beyond repair
And yesterday was a day
Where we all came together
Damages the size of canyons
Trying to fix each other
With band-aids
It was nice for a moment
Trying to pretend that we were all normal
But we are damaged souls
And we realized
That is okay
