Look me in the eyes, tell me what you see
In your eyes, I see an ocean
One so calm, one capable of the greatest storms
An ocean I have been lost within
One that I choose to call home
Yet I know the longer I stay, the longer I stare
The longer I will drown
The deeper I will fall
A love that comes and goes
Crashes in a disguise of waves
A love that I am incapable of containing
Forever it’ll flow
Never to be controlled
I am washed ashore by the kindness of your soul
By the acts of letting me go
Forever, it’ll flow
Forever, no longer longing for its presence
It has captured every tear shed
From the pain within in disguise
I love you more than I will ever know
